I’m Derek D’Amato, an aquaponics researcher. Sustainable Aqua Farming Solutions introduces this area of my work alongside my training and teaching in Malta.

Aquaponics connects aquatic cultivation with plant growing. My research interests include how these systems can contribute to a better understanding of sustainable food production. This page introduces those interests; it does not report completed research findings or promise specific production or environmental outcomes.
